The wood is not protected against stains. The table must be protected before first use. We provide you with Natural Woodsealer ® (free of charge). This water-based waterproofing oil provides protection but does little to alter the original unfinished appearance.
The wood used is exclusively recycled wood from doors and structural beams from old and antique buildings. Deviations in structure and color are therefore possible.
This table top has a so-called envelope construction. A common effect of this design is a small opening between the central plate and the side beams. The opening may increase if the humidity in the area is too low.
